"I took a trip to Senegal and was fortunate enough to visit Palmarin and take a Kayak trip (2, actually!) with Pierre through the mangroves on Christmas day. We had a small group, I believe 6 of us, and it was an absolutely magical experience. From Pierre's incredible knowledge of the wildlife to his sense of humor and patience with my wonderment and curiosity, it was a privilege to spend the day exploring with him.
Pierre and his crew made sure that we didn't miss any of the animals or plants around, that we were safe and happy and incredibly well fed! Our stop on shore brought the best, most fresh lunch I could imagine. We ate, shared stories, and even took a short nap under a canopy. Then we explored the trees and heard stories of the people who inhabited the land generations ago. This trip was eye-opening and will forever be one of the best experiences of my life. Please make this a must-do on your trip to West Africa!"
